Case study
Go-Ahead Group A corporate website for an international transport group
Overview
Go-Ahead runs bus and rail services in the UK and around the world. Its corporate website speaks to partners, communities, journalists and people who might want to work there.
What we did
A flexible site for a big, busy group
We designed and built Go-Ahead’s website on our block-based WordPress theme, with a library of page sections the team uses to build pages: key figures, maps, timelines, news and reports.
An interactive map shows where Go-Ahead operates by bus, rail and coach. Pages on people, community, sustainability and governance sit alongside news, awards and careers, including the apprentice programme.
Highlights
What makes it work
-
The group on a map
Visitors switch between bus, rail and coach to see where Go-Ahead operates, country by country.
-
Reports that live on the site
We brought an interactive economic impact report, built in React by another agency, into WordPress as a self-contained plugin with the site’s own header and footer.
-
Built to be edited
A large set of page sections means the team can publish news, achievements and reports themselves.
